It all begins with a complimentary phone or virtual consultation. We’ll discuss your needs, goals, and budget, then schedule your first in-home session. You can contact us through the website or by phone to set up your consultation.

At Organizing with Joy, our approach is rooted in compassion, personalization, and sustainability. We don’t just “tidy up”, we help you build habits that last. Our goal is to make organizing feel joyful, not stressful, and to help you fall in love with your space again.

I’ve received professional training in organizing principles, space planning, and productivity systems from Organizing U and am a Certified Professional Organizer from the International of Professions Career College. Most importantly, I bring years of hands-on experience and a passion for helping people create peaceful, functional spaces.

Absolutely. Your privacy is a top priority. Everything we see, discuss, or handle during our sessions is kept completely confidential. You can trust that your home and personal information are treated with the utmost respect.

Every space and client is different. The length of time depends on the size of the area, the number of items, and how quickly you make decisions. During our consultation, we’ll provide an estimate and plan tailored to your goals and timeline.

Yes! We understand that families have busy lives. While it’s ideal to minimize distractions, children can certainly be home and sometimes even enjoy participating in age-appropriate parts of the process.

For most sessions, you don’t need to be present the entire time. You can stay for about an hour to make decisions during the decluttering process, or I can assign you some homework before our arrival.

Not at all. The goal isn’t to make you get rid of things, it’s to help you keep what you truly love, need, and use. We’ll guide you through the decision-making process, but you always have the final say.

Once you’ve signed the contract, we’ll discuss your style and budget. I can send you links for products, or I can shop for you for a $30/hour shopping fee. I receive a 25% discount from The Container Store, and I pass that discount directly to my clients.

The only additional costs may be for organizing products or hauling/removal services if you choose to use them. All potential expenses are discussed and approved before any purchases are made.

We accept cash, credit/debit cards, and electronic payments (such as Zelle or Venmo). We require 100% upfront payment to schedule the first session. For larger packages, we ask for a 50% deposit, with the remaining balance due on the third day of the project.
